I didn't even consider using specials drones. I'll read up on that. I'll look at the large blasters then too. I've only used hybrid and all they did was finally lock and then shoot volleys off into space. Thanks.

It seems most of the times I've died in low sec were because I ran across a group of two or three bandits. So I was thinking, as I warp around bits of low sec, could a travel battleship (Hyperion) work? Like: Medium blasters to get a lock / track...
